There are 4 different sizes of upright pianos including the spinet (36"-40"), console (42"-44"), studio (45"-47"), and full upright (48" - 52"). The taller the piano is, the longer the string will be giving the piano a deeper, richer tone and more   resonance. The best soundboards are made of solid spruce (sound is easily transferred through the grain of the wood). You will need to have your piano tuned about once or twice per year (depending on your musical needs). All of our pianos have been checked and regularly tuned by certified piano technicians.
